Hey Guys!!  Having "Girls" Team Roping at Cowgirls with a Cause has been brought up several years in the past...  After allot of thought and debate,  we've decided to go ahead and add Team Roping to CWAC...  The TR girls have been begging to get involved with CWAC for quite some time now and I'm not one to turn away folks trying to help the cause!!!  I'm sure the Team Ropers will enter the barrel racing and Breakaway while they are there and I'm sure the breakaway and barrel racers will enter the TR too!!   More money raised for Breast Cancer!!!!  We are going to hammer out the details and format over the next couple of weeks to try to keep things as fair and fun as possible!!!  Thanks to Everyone for your support and as always... Hello Everyone!!  There has been allot of interest in having Cowgirls With A Cause again...  I was approached by several cowgirls offering their help with getting it started again.... So I accepted their offer and have put them to work on planning CWAC 2009!!! 

We have a Date of November 21st... (the Saturday before Thanksgiving)... and the arena is the covered arena (H&H Arena) in Taylorsville, NC ... We had CWAC there in 2005...  We are very excited and working on new ideas for this year's event!!  We don't have a trailer sponsor this year WE DO NOW!  but we are ordering very nice saddles...(Reinsman)   and Great Belt buckles...(Bob Berg)  and I am sure we will have lots of other awesome custom prizes to give away!!!  We have a new website,   cowgirlswithacause.org        and Lindsey is working on a face book page,  and Tom is working on new brochures and posters...  Hopefully we will have these tools ready and available shortly so we can all get to work on getting sponsors for this year's event!!   I am excited about getting this thing going again this year!! 

NOW more than ever,  there are allot of women out there who can't afford  the potentially life saving mammograms they need!!!!  We CAN do something to make a difference and most importantly SAVE some mother's, daughter's,  sister's, grandmother's, Aunt's, niece's,  Wife's,  friend's  LIFE!!!!  

 So get your ropes out... and tune up your barrel ponies and let's get out there and have FUN making a DIFFERENCE!!!!
